Egg Sambar
Ingredients :
Egg - 3 Preparation Time : 20 min
Onions - 1 Cup
Tomato - 1 Serves : 4 People

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Curry Masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt
Masala to Grind :
Coconut - 4 Tbsp
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Cinnamon - 1'' size
Cloves - 2
Coriander seeds - 1 Tsp
Ginger - 1''
Garlic - 3 pods
Gram Dal - 1 Tbsp
Method :
Grind all the ingredients given above to a smooth paste.
Heat a pan with 2 Tbsp oil and add mustard seeds, onions, tomato and curry leaves.
Add Chilly powder, Turmeric powder and Curry masala powder and saute it well.
Add the grinded masala and salt to it and add 1 cup water to it.
Allow it to boil well in medium flame for 10 minutes.
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
Pour the beaten eggs to the boiling sambar and reduce the flame completely. Do not stir. Close the lid for 5 minutes. Switch off the stove. Transfer it to a serving bowl.
Serve with Hot idli's and dosa.
