Moong Dal Dosa ( PasiParuppu Dosa )

               Moong dal dosa is a very healthy recipe and easy recipe. It has a good soothing taste and texture. You can add onions and without onions to the dosa batter. Fermentation is not necessary. You can prepare immedietly as you grind. Kara chutney and Coconut chutney's are the best combination for this dosa.

Ingredients :
To Grind :
Moong Dal - 1 Cup                                                       Soaking time : 4 - 5 Hrs
Idly Rice - 1/4 Cup
Red chilly - 2                                                                Preparation Time : 15 Min
Garlic - 2 Pods
Salt - 1 Tsp                                                                  Serves : 10 - 12 Dosa's
To mix with batter :
Chopped Onions - 1/2 Cup
Coriander leaves
Curry Leaves
Oil


Method :
Soak the Moong Dal and rice together for atleast 4-5 Hours. Then wash and drain the water .


Add Red chilly, Garlic & Salt.


Grind it to smooth paste. Add water while grinding.


Transfer the grinded flour to a vessel.


Add chopped onions, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Mix the batter well.


Heat the dosa pan and pour the batter. Add oil to dosa.


Turn the dosa other side and cook until nice crisp.


Serve the dosa's hot with coconut chutney.
