Chicken roast is a mouth-watering chicken recipe marinated in tomato paste. Nattu Kozhi or country chicken gives a excellent taste to this recipe.
Ingredients :
Chicken - 1/2 Kg Preparation Time : 45 Min
Curry Leaves
Oil Serves : 4 People
For Marinating :
Tomato - 3
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - 5/6 pods
Chilly powder - 2 Tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt

Method :
Add tomatoes, Ginger, Garlic, Chilly powder, Turmeric and salt in a mixer jar. Grind it to a smooth paste without adding water.
Wash the chicken and place it in a pressure cooker. Add the grinded paste to the chicken.
Mix it well in the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes. After 30 min, pressure cooker for 1 whistle. Do not add water while pressure cooking.
Take a large iron pan and heat 4 Tbsp oil. Add the pressure cooked chicken and all the masala contents to it.
Fry it well until all the moisture evaporates and oil separates and the chicken turns dry . Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice and chicken curry.
