Chicken Soup ( Nattu Kozhli Rasam)



Ingredients :

Chicken - 250 gm                                                             Preparation Time : 20 Min
Turmeric - pinch
Salt                                                                                   Serves : 5 cups
Sesame Oil - 2 tbsp
Curry Leaf
Coriander Leaf
Chicken Soup

To dry roast and Grind:

Coriander Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Red Chilly - 1 
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Small onions - 5 shallots
Garlic - 2 Pods
Curry Leaf

Method :

Heat a pan and dry roast all the ingredients given above. 

                            

Cool it and grind it to smooth paste.

                            

Heat pressure cooker and boil 2 cups of water. Add the chicken pieces. Then add grounded masala paste to the chicken and add 3 cups of water




Finally add turmeric, salt, Sesame oil and curry leaf. Close the lid and Pressure cook for 3 whistles.

                           

Serve hot. Add crushed pepper if needed.
