Red Beans Gravy or Rajma Masala

           This is a popular Indian dish served with Roti. I used chat masala to give a different taste to the recipe. Red beans is also called Kidney beans. It is rich in anti-oxidants and packed with high protein & iron.
It is good to consume on daily basis.

Ingredients :

Red Beans - 1/2 cup                                                  Preparation Time : 20 min
Onions - 1 cup
Tomato -  1                                                                Serves : 2 people
Turmeric
Chilly Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Chat Masala powder - 1 Tsp
Coriander powder - 2 Tsp
Salt
Oil







Method :

Soak Red beans overnight and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.

                             
                                                                         
Chop Onions, Tomato and coriander leaves. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, Onions & tomato. Saute it until tomato softens.

                    

Add Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric & Chat masala. Stir it well for 5 min.Then add the cooked Red Beans.

                            

Grind few Red Beans to smooth paste.

                              

Add the Red Beans paste with the masala & stir it. Add some water to boil. Cook until the gravy thickens. Garnish with coriander leaves.

                              

Red Beans Gravy is ready. Taste excellent with Roti and Paratha. Enjoy.
