Pasiparuppu Kulambu ( Moong Dal curry)


                  Moong Dal is a very healthy lentil which is used in wide variety of food recipes. It has a high nutritional benefit. This pasiparuppu kulambu goes well with rice and roti.

Ingredients :

Moong Dal - 1/2 Cup                                                       Preparation Time : 20 Min
Small Onions - 1/2 cup
Garlic - 3 Pods                                                                 Serves : 2 People
Tomato - 1
Curry Leaf
Coriander Leaf
Turmeric
Salt
Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Oil






Method :
     
Roast the Moong dal in a dry pan for 5 min. Add 2 cups water in a pressure cooker once the water is boiled add the roasted dal and pressure cooker for 2 whistle.
                                  

Once the pressure is gone open the pressure cooker lid and smash the dal with a laddle. Chop the Onions, Tomato and garlic.

                                  

Add the tomato,curry leaf, coriander leaf, garlic and onions to the dal. Add 1 cup water and cook until the onions and tomato cooks well.

                                  

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & cumin seeds. Pour it in the cooked dal and mix it.

                                  

Transfer it to a serving dish.

Serve hot with Roti or rice.
